Come and create your own terrarium with Fancy Plants.
Creating your own terrarium is a great opportunity to learn how to design and make your own unique miniature living garden inside a glass container with live plants, moss and natural gravels and some fun decorations. The workshops are friendly sessions with the host, Sharon, taking you through each step at your own pace, layer by layer.
Come on your own or with friends or family - these sessions in our Brislington garden studio, ‘The Greenhouse’ are small friendly and relaxing workshops where you can chat as you go or just enjoy some calm and quite whilst you build your little garden. Everything you need to create your terrarium is provided.
Dates are available here at our studio space in Brislington where we have can accommodate groups of 8. Please note there are two sets of steps up to the workshop space. What to expect. Each session starts with an introduction to terrariums and the tools and plants you’ll be using. Its perfect for beginners or if you have experience pf terrariums its a great opportunity to build on that knowledge. Sharon will take you step by step through creating your very own unique enclosed terrarium full of plants, living moss and decorative gravels, going at your own pace. You can choose from three sizes, the smaller size will take 1-1.5 hours, the larger sizes may take up to 2 hours. The terrariums are approximately 12/14cm height and 19cm height. Alternatively two people can make one large 24cm terrarium together.
